Aside from that the deck has powerful protection due to being able to play higher card-counts while remaining consistent. is oftentimes too much for most decks to handle. The deck is clearly the second-best deck in the current format after Harpies, having the ability to easily summon strong boss monsters like Loading. Melodious has won the MCS and it keeps holding its Tier 2 position. counter Loading.'s effect to bouncing monsters to hand which makes this unfavorable matchup more in the Melodious player's favor. While the Harpie matchup can be difficult, popular cards such as Loading. which allows them to add the card they just used as fodder for the Skill. Melodious although not as consistent as Harpies it still comes at a close second with From Songstress to Maestra giving them easy access to cards such as Loading. for Harpies (effectively dealing with backrow and disruption), which make Harpies so difficult to deal with, establishing them firmly at Tier 1. It is the combination of Loading., which makes every Summon of the deck a threat, and Loading., which becomes an engine piece and a Loading. stopping the special summon of Harpie Ladies altogether).

Harpies have become even more dominant at Tier 1 than they ever were, this is due to the introduction of more favorable match ups in the current meta game.
